Pippin Drabble

Well, probably a little more than a drabble, since I've been known to write drabbles six hundred words in length. So this would probably be a vignette.

Near But Far AwayAwareness slowly came back to Pippin, awareness filled with a crushing weight upon his chest that was more than memory. He had been crushed by a Troll during the battle, and now ( Read more... )

Thanks! Write a second part? Hmmm... I'll have to think about that one. This was merely an exercise to get my own feelings off my mind in the middle of the night so I could get some sleep, which is why his feelings came through so clearly. The idea here was that Pippin had sufferred a panic attack. The only thing he needs to be treated for are his battle injuries.

I really don't know what comes next yet.

And thanks for telling me I missed the other slash in "" - it's all fixed now!

Oooh, this is very powerful. Pippin is in such pain, but has such strength of will.

Thanks, Shirebound. Pippin does have tremendous strength of will, and hopefully it will see him through his panic.

The underlining is all fixed now - thanks!

Thanks!

I certainly hope there is comfort to go with all that hurt, but I don't know yet whether or not I will write it. Pippin had a panic attack, not some injury that needs medicinal treatment. I expect he will be fine once he hears that Frodo and Sam are indeed alive and well.

WOW! I was on the edge of my seat on this one. The more you built the tension, the further forward I moved. Excellent.
