I hold back when meeting people, too. It seems like a natural reaction when you don't really know someone.

I hope I do too! And I think I would make a great girlfriend, but I guess you can't just say it and expect to be believed on saying's sake.

I am doing.... ok.

My personal life is improved (new SO, whom I like very much), two cats, and a horde of fish.

My professional life is another story. I love the work I'm doing, but it isn't going to last forever (I keep getting 2-3 month extensions) and the pay isn't enough.

But all in all, it's good, and could be MUCH worse. You should come down for dinner sometime.
