Party Time!
This Friday evening (October 28th) from 6 p.m. until approx. midnight we will be opening our home for a party. Costumes are preferred, but not necessary. Rosa Parks died today. It's going to be interesting to see how she's memorialized in the coming days and years. Hopefully what she did for civil rights will never be forgotten or misused in the coming years. -

comfort
This year I'm attending a weekly Bible study on the book of Genesis. This past Monday night we sang a hymn that was really comforting. Not that I'm going through any major trials right now, but I figured I should record it so that I can easily find it whenever I'm in need of comfort. house update
Well, as of 1:30 p.m. this afternoon we have everything in the house. James ended up taking off yesterday and today for us to finish getting everything out, but at least we got everything out. We're even getting part of our deposit back (minus the cleaning fee ( Read more... )
