Anyway! I believe it's time to assign you some homework...I'd like you to write a paper on what you have learned about Transfiguration so far and what you wish to learn about

Alfred: Well, he really really wants to do well in your class, Arty. But at the same time, doing homework for his dad is anathema to him. After a lot of false starts, he manages to hammer out something decent. There's not much about what he wants to learn, but the section on what he knows already is fairly detailed. 8} But feel free to notice him stressing about it in class.

Pepper Miller: 1st year Gryffindor - She knows nothing about transfiguration, so she writes about how cool it would be to turn people into toads and squish them when you got mad at them, or make yourself really big so you could walk to Spain.

Kaoru Hitachiin: Kaoru writes most of what he has learned over the years, maybe leaving out only a detail or two but not much. Some parts are more thorough than others so you can see in which parts he excels at. He also expresses interest in being able to transform himself, maybe into a cat. It's easily over the page minimum

Tieria Erde - Fifth Year - Ravenclaw - almost writes a complete synopsis of all past Transfiguration classes... the kid's got mad skills in recall... as far as learning, he wants to learn to be an animagus as he believes it will help him in his goals to be an auror.

Duo Maxwell - Second Year - Gryffindor - he writes about all the spells he's learned, what the incantations are, and what they do... anything as far as book theory seems to have flown the coop over the summer.

Chidori Yoshino, 6th Year Ravenclaw: Chidori listed nearly everything she has learned for the past 5 years that she has been taking transfiguration. She doesn't list anything new she wants to learn. She trusts the judgment of the teacher.
