Reception for Kirk-Pike wedding [open to EVERYONE]
The ceremony had been beautiful, and a perfect way to open the new recreation area on board the Enterprise. It felt strange calling it a bar, since it opened up to a huge observation desk, stars floating in the distance as music played from a five-piece band, hastily tossed together from volunteers.
Guinan continued to be impressed with the galley. The wedding couple had asked for simple, and she thought they delivered. There was a glint in her eye when she saw the wedding cake rolled in. A cake that men chose, clearly. Simple, too, yet still just special enough to stand out on the table loaded with other light snacks.
Drinks had been pouring out steadily, yet everyone was still happy. Couples had begun dancing in the area that had been cleared for that purpose. More than one individual seemed to be eying the chocolate-covered strawberries on the cake.
Ten-Forward was officially open.
