How I feel, I feel like gay marriage should be accepted. So many people critisize other huan beings about being gay and its not right. They have the same rights as everyone else does. But for years, human beings have been blowing gay marriage outta the ball park. I say if they are happy being gay then why should it matter. And why should gay huan beings be looked at differently because of what they are? Its not cool and its not right. I'm for gay marriage and new jersey should just let the gay marriage bill stand instead of not being for it.

I agree. That the gay marriage bill was voted down makes me very angry and sad. They say they want to protect the "institution of marriage," but everyone knows that it's already been destroyed to some extent by heterosexuals who don't value it at all.

Its a very frustrating thing but the only way I see the fight won is from the inside. Get the right people in office who support your ideas and not just people who will get them tax breaks and a new football stadium. I know here in Texas people seem so amazed and shocked when the elected officials do stupid things or vote ways they don't like, but I tell them you put him there and you gave them that power. Not enough people seem to want to make a change until after the fact.

You're right. And unfortunately, NJ voters spoke their minds by voting in a Republican governor, which seems to have been the straw that broke the camel's back in terms of gay marriage legislation.

I agree with you both. Get the right people in office and to me they are really not doing nothing because human beings are gonna do what they wanna do so it really dooes not matter what they voted because all around the world gay marriage is going on and they can't stop it. Some of my cousins are gay and they get talked about because of what they are. Alot of people put of petitions out but its really doing nothing because office is not really saying or doing what the people wanna hear or what they wanna see. So until then, I say they can really go sit down and stop trying 2 argue cause its not about them, its about the people!

Agreed. The fact that fear is driving much of this makes me so disgusted and sad.

The real irony here is that in Mass, after gay marriage was legalized, divorce rates have dropped to pre WW2 levels.
