Some of you may recall a post I made in May about absolutely, definitely not wishing on a New Moon.

A quick glance at the Premiership table tonight might encourage others to do something that I definitely, absolutely would not do myself.

I have had about six telephone conversations in the last 48 hours which, when I add them up, make few reasonable assumptions, stick my finger in the air and look to the skies with disbelief (or thanks, can't decide which), tell me that the Music Industry is going through a deep and profound change. Just spent a rather depressing evening watching an array of new-ish bands playing Glastonbury on the TV.

For instance, The Kooks were DIRE, Editors formulaic at best (although clearly making an effort) , Klaxons messy rubbish, and all these bands have sold heaps of records in the UK. Same with Kasabian yesterday. Amy Winehouse last night was ( Read more... )

The Chameleons have finally been replaced..........."Big Science" by Laurie Anderson has been purchased and is being hammered. What a record.
