I felt the same way when my Nana passed away. I was so devastated. She meant the world to me, and really inspired me in so many ways.
Just keep in mind that he was that inspiration for you.

i know it's no where near how you feel, but even i'm down in the dumps about it. your grandpa joe was great all the times i'd been around him.
