Help! My workout music sucks!

May 18, 2009 19:48

Ok, I'm begging. Those of you who have ipod type lists of music you enjoy while you work out, would you be willing to share? I'm heartily bored with mine and looking to spice it up some. Working out in the garage is just too too boring without great tunes.
Thanks!

edited to add: Please tell me which songs to go find?

I'll admit it, I've never heard of these people. What songs would you recomend?

For a good work out I'd recomend:

Arctic Monkeys:
- Brianstorm
- Balaclava
- Do me a Favour
- I Bet You Look Good on the Dance Floor
- You Probably Couldn't See For The Lights But You Were Staring Straight At Me

Kasabian:
- LSF
- Processed Beats
- Club Foot
- Reason is Treason

Mark Ronson:
- God Put A Smile Upon Your Face
- Oh my God
- Apply Some Pressure
- Just
- The Only One I Know
- LSF (cover of Kasabian above)

I just discovered a band called Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. They have an album that's basically a punk version of showtunes - I haven't bought it yet, but I plan to. The album is called "Are a Drag." Here's a link: Me First and the Gimme Gimmes Are a Drag" The first time I heard it I thought it would make awesome workout music.

They're also in my workout list! They cover a lot of old rock songs, too ( ... )
