I just recieved an email saying that my work is going to be published in Plant Physiology. I'm excited; this isn't something that undergraduates are usually able to accomplish. Too bad I don't want to be a scientist, because I'd probably make a damned good one.

It's amazing how life can go from confusing and frustrating to perfect in the span of a single day. I honestly never saw it comming, but that makes it all the sweeter.

I can't help but think that I'm a totally different person than I was even a few weeks ago. I don't know why, but I haven't had a self-centered moment in a long time. I've been so easy going lately, and at least over the last two weeks or so I've not once regretted the past. I think I'm in danger of actually becoming a truly good person. Maybe ( Read more... )

I went up North last weekend with my roomates Todd, Tim, Chaz, and about 15 of our friends. We got up Saturday night and as soon as we got the tents up it started to rain, so we all sat inside and played King's Cup. Things are not quite how they used to be. I don't know how to explain it, but I don't feel the same about certain issues. It's definitely for the better though, I guarantee it.

Guilt is a useless, crippling emotion. I do wrong, and I hang on it whether the consequences of my actions are real or imagined. The weight of self imposed responsibility is a heavy burden, and is one that I'm not going to let myself carry anymore ( Read more... )
