Three weeks in St. Louis/Kansas City were an adventure.  Despite ups and downs, we were successful in helping to get the Missouri minimum wage raised and in passing an amendment allowing stem cell research.  Then Susan came down to visit!  Hurray.

I want to buy a new digital camera. What do I do?! Do I go for the Canon Powershot A530 with 5 megapixels that is on sale?! Or do I get the Sony cybershot s500 that would cost a bit more and would not take my SD memory cards but that is cuter and smaller!? On that note:

I just watched a stunning film called Searching for the Wrong Eyed Jesus. It's on DVD and is waiting for you to rent/buy it. All I can say is: the south, Amazing Grace played with a saw, and jesus' funny eye. Three things that scare me but that made me love this film. The soundtrack is unreal! Leave a comment
