In planning for the beginning of the 2nd semester (which starts tomorrow!), I was reminded that I started some sort of blog about my first year teaching with every intention that I share my everyday reflections with those interested out there. I have been so happy with my teaching so far this week. I know it's only Tuesday, but what a wonderful start to the week. I'm taking my first personal day on Friday to fly to Arizona for a weekend with family. I'm devising a listening assignment for the sub to run during all class periods...no movies for this girl!
