    Been a long, long time since I wrote anything here. Life has been just fantastic! I am loving living up on Mount Desert Island, and working here. The Acadia Institute of Oceanography is just an amazing place to be. The staff here is just top notch, and the students we get, for the most part, are high caliber. I have commitment issues. It actually sucks. I mean ovwerall life is fantastic. Doing well academically, doing well friendwise, and making new friends all the time. Very happy in that respect. I did something I as never able to do. Confront my father and step mom. It felt fantastic. I called up, and left my "father" a message outlining what he did and did not for me. Called back up,a nd chatted with my step-mother, who proceeded to call me a rather obscene string of obcenities. I didn't care, it didn't pahse me and it feels fantastic. I ( Read more... )
