Current members please ignore this post as it does not apply to you.

If you have been rejected membership from gunnergirls, there may be several reasons as to why. Here are a few major ones we'd like to point out to avoid confusion and hassling of moderators at their personal journals.

( Hopefully this will clear the air and make things more clear. )

My request was declined, but I'd really love to join. I haven't been an Arsenal fan for long, which is why I don't have any icons yet. I do support Liverpool FC. But I've come to love Arsenal as well, so if there's a way to join the community, I'd really love to.

Hi,
I'm an Arsenal fan and I've been active on the Arsenal community here on LJ but do not update my blog. I check LJ regularly though so I hope I can join...I'm also a boy so hopefully that shouldn't be too much of an issue :S

I was curious as to why my request to join was rejected. As I easily meet all the other issues listed here, my best guess as to why it was rejected was because I have both Arsenal and Barcelona listed in my interests and icons. Both are my favorite teams (so the CL quarterfinal this year just about killed me, it was an interesting performance in schizophrenia).

But I'm not going to start drama as a Barcelona fan, this is a community specifically for Arsenal which is what I came here hoping to join. Heck, I don't even start drama when people insult my teams in open footie forums.

Hey, I requested to join here the other day and I was rejected.
I'm a little confused as to why, seeing as I had multiple Arsenal related interests listed and my journal is active.

The only reason I can think of as to why I was rejected is that I had a Torres icon defaulted. Which was because I find it hilarious and it makes me laugh. I am not, by any means, a L'pool fan... nor am I a big Torres fan. It's just that, as I stated before, the picture made me laugh. :S

Hi sorry, I'm not sure why your request was rejected! I'm the one who originally made this post and I'm no longer a maintainer who can approve membership so I'm not able to help you!

Please personal either aliice or _meandthemajor about membership and they should be able to help you out there! Sorry again!
