I've made about a million mental updates to this journal over the past few weeks, but haven't yet had the time to sit down and type any of it out.

Don't get me wrong.
Most of it has been the good kind of busy.

Pretty much every waking hour I haven't been stuck at work, has been spent smooching with Ariel, hanging out with spooky_satan, or working on last

I'm so excited about the new EP btw. I think it will be some of our best work to date. Has anyone told you the title/theme yet?

I know Tigerlily and Grow are going to be on there (which automatically = awesome in my books), but when I called Stuart a couple of days ago to ask about the title, it was still undecided.

After practice Sunday night, I think we've finally confirmed that it will be titled Burning Alive, Making A Living which is a line in one of our newer songs, "Little Darling".

The theme has to do with the idea of the working class struggling to get by. It has personal relevance to the band, because we're trying to make a living while doing the whole rock star thing. I would like to think that the EP will be the first ever concept EP, because all the songs have this connection to the working class. I think people dig it, cuz the songs are going to be great.

Cool! I am totally willing to give you extra brownie points* for assembling a concept EP, since so few bands do concept albums any more, and even fewer do it well.

Hell, I'll even help try to tie in with it when I revamp the website.
