What day is it?
This Saturday is the 1st Annual Promenade of Mermaids. I only found out the date this past week end. I started my outfit last night. My idea was to great a sort of boulder skirt that my fin would dangle over. I made some headway but I am not sure if I have the time to get it right ( Read more... ) -
Mug Shots and Incisions
I had a minor surgery today - one of the moles that were biopsied a few weeks ago was growing back. Nine Stitches! So far I am just a little sore BUT I touched the incision site and the local anesthesia is still in effect. Um, not a good sign. lol ( Read more... ) -

Tonight I'm paying bills and watching "The House on Telegraph Hill". :-)
Mother's Day was nice. We had a barbecue at my sister's house and went swimming. It was a fun day.

Lyposuction! (GASP)
I'm watching "Legally Blonde". I love this movie and it is a good antidote to a lame week. Work continues apace. The drama keeps ratcheting up and everyone seems to be eyeing the excited. Yesterday we were given another 1 day furlough. It is the Friday before Memorial Day Week end so I ain't mad. ;-)

Work is, well, work. I'm looking but haven't seen anything so far this week to apply for. Things are ramping up there stress and workload wise for everyone. It sucks.

Day 6
I've been using Myfitnesspal for about 6 days. My struggle has moved from the sugars and carbohydrates to fat and sodium. I'm overshooting the target on both about 29% and 41% respectively. Something to work on. Even with that I've lost about 7 pounds. My focus at first was to get my sugars under control so fats and sodium will be next. I'm ( Read more... ) -
Desperately Seeking Papa Smurf
Raking up the yard after work today I came across Papa Smurf in the hedges. The kids on my street play in my drive way. I think Papa Smurf was the victim of a game of keep away or a fight. I’ll put him on the mailbox post Saturday and his owner can reclaim him.

Bunnies!
Baby K's birthday is this week end. She's having a friends' party so we took her out last Friday night to celebrate. We took her to Full Bunny Contact at the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural and Educational Center. It was a lot of fun. Sort of like an Easter themed carnival for adults.
