Thirding Mos Eisley's. I've gotten a tattoo there, my best friend got her nose pierced, and a bunch of friends have gotten tattooed there. Probably pricier than other places but if you're really concerned about quality and having a job well done, it's worth it.
I got a piercing at Mourning Star, I'm not sure if it's even open any more. If it is, it shouldn't be. Don't go there.
I've heard good stuff about Mos Eisley's, though I've never been there myself. Laughing Gremlin is where I got my two tattoos, my friends have gotten a plethora of tattoos and piercings. Also pricey, also probably worth it.
For what it's worth, I've had several piercings done over the years at a total of 3 different shops (one other in GR, one out of state) and everything that I've had done at Eisleys has healed super fast and Aric is an extremely nice and knowledgeable guy to be pierced by.
Not to mention, I have my inner conch pierced. A couple years ago, I was getting into a car, hit my ear on the door and the captive ball on the ring popped off and disappeared in the parking lot. I went to the shop, told them that I'd lost the ball and needed a new ring (keep in mind it'd been at least a year since I'd gotten it pierced). Aric went into the back, came back with a captive and popped it right in free of charge.

I've had work done at Pain for Sale on 28th, too, and haven't had any problems. Decently priced, too.
