Let's see...
Walked about 5 miles, a personal record to date.
Volunteers directing traffic.
Candlelight block party serving pineapple, cold(!) beer and pretzels.
Grocery shopping by flashlight.
Lines for pay phones.
Gourmet dinner - bread rolls, smoked gouda cheese and tap water.

They suck you in with their innocent-looking freebie tables in front of your college dorm. They get to you through never-ending phone calls even though you told them to put you on their do-not call list. They sell your information to ever more numerous credit providers.
