Cat Bath

I just gave Freya (one of our three cats) a bath. It was necessary, she had a urinary tract infection, and needed a good cleanup. I haven't given a cat a bath in at least 15 years. I thought I'd stop by your site to get to know you a bit better. I'm amazed your cat didn't at least scratch you! My cat, Sunny, plays rough and scratches me when I know he doesn't mean to. He'd tear me to SHREDS if I attempted to give him a bath, I'm certain of it.

As for why Freya didn't scratch you, my guess would be she was unhappy about being bathed, but she must have great trust in you at the same time. She was unhappy, but I don't think she felt threatened. If she had, I think survival instinct would have kicked in and you WOULD have been bleeding!!!

Ok, so now I'm laughing at myself for a silly error!! The journal I MEANT to check out was gwinna487 who is a new editor on a comm of which I'm the senior editor. Silly me!!!! However, I still enjoyed reading this entry. AND I also discovered the comm you maintain anthropologist and HAD to join that, since the subject fascinates me!!
