Productivity
Tonight I rearranged the books (straightened, moved, made new shelving). So my books all have space now, and are alphabetized and where they should be :)
This makes me very happy :) -

Cat Bath
I just gave Freya (one of our three cats) a bath. It was necessary, she had a urinary tract infection, and needed a good cleanup. I haven't given a cat a bath in at least 15 years. I really think she thought I'd decided to kill her by drowning. She cried, and she screamed, and she grasped, and she struggled, and I felt like a murderer. I can't ( Read more... ) -

The local news keeps telling me of churches and other organizations that are collecting food, medical supplies and clothes to send to Haiti. My question: How are you going to get the stuff there, and what are they supposed to do with it if it arrives ( Read more... ) -
"The Browser Highlighter"
Anyone know what the "Browser Highlighter" is? I found it on my computer (an icon on the bottom right hand side). I don't know how it got there, and it apparently came from ebay, and I'm a little annoyed that I downloaded something without knowing it. Random
Today I caved in and bought a winter jacket. The news told me that it wouldn't get above 30 degrees for the next week, and that decided it. I really love the new coat. It's charcoal gray wool, "London Fog" (which is a good brand), it was half off at Macys, and I had a gift card. :) -
Snow!
It's snowing! :) -
Strep
I've got strep throat. It sucks. It's like having an awful flu and swallowing razor blades at the same time. I keep expecting to wake up in the morning finally feeling good, but no luck so far. -
Atlantis
I saw the shuttle go up today. It was awesome. They did the countdown on the radio, my mom told me which direction to look, and there it was! :)
