Good News, Bad News...

Good news:
I got a teaching job! It's doing substitute teaching for the General Brown Central School District, and apparently I'll be seeing a fair bit of work for the next year.

Bad News:
In order to get the job, I have to be fingerprinted for the database for New York State teachers. This will cost $100. I do not have $100. Hell, I don't have $10 ( Read more... )

Those bastards! In LA they only charged B $15 to get fingerprinted to substitute teach. And they did it without ink...they used lasers!

I know. I called the school district up after finding out I could get printed at the Sheriff's office, and they told me flat out, "We're sorry, but it has to be done through us." It sucks, but there's little I can do about it.
