Still not dead... And feeling pretty good!

Had more surgery yesterday... And frankly I had felt more trepidatious about it than any I had had so far. I was genuinely worried for the first time that I wouldn't make it. I not only made it, but felt better than I had in a long time! Basically what happened is a long story:

They used a wound-vac on Mom when she was going through the two years of tummy hell. Dad helped out so much with it that the manager of the Home Health service that was taking care of her got him certified. It worked for her, but she didn't have a wad of bacteria laden mesh in her tummy. (and she ended up with no belly button at all)

OOO! Spawn of a clone... Giggle. I had two, but this last surgery replaced one of them with a diagonal Frankensteinein scar. Can't tell which one yet.

we can too tell which one!
the fuguly one with the fingers of phunky flesh is the one they closed the cute one is still there( but covered by a bandage part of the time).

my siamese single is now my sweet greying husband! With a very sore tummy.

I let other people handle wth wound vac, he completely hated it and it creeped me out.
The medihoney was sticky but at least interesting, wound care and midwifery are STILL not on my list of choices of profession, but I'll do just about anything when called upon...
