I really want to post more about Sirens, but I'm up to my eyeballs in school stuff this week. Everyone was very friendly, and it was lovely to meet some of you IRL. I had a great time in spite of some initial social anxiety issues, and I definitely plan to go back next year. Off to Sirens (via Powell's) tomorrow morning! I have a math lesson to give at Liam's school first, but I should be on the road by 10:30. Even though I have to take a bunch of school board work with me, it's nice to think of taking a long weekend to do my own thing.

Alas, the coyotes appear to have moved on while we were out of town. My parents saw a new set of pups right before we got back, but all we've seen is one adult taking a nap near the fence. And many, many rabbits, which I think is further evidence that the coyotes have moved on ( Read more... )
