I was pretty shocked by Lowe's actions. As you know, I come from Detroit. Deaborn is a suburb--a boring one. As you say, just ordinary people trying to live their lives. It also always stuns me when lunatics claim that sharia law is the norm in Dearborn. No. It's not.

First they don't know what sharia law is, let alone whether it's being imposed on the rest of us (which apparently is also a fear).

I've seen the show and agree it's ridiculous to find any objection to it. If anything it's terminally boring, which I think unfortunately is supposed to be the point ("Look! Muslims cut their grass, too!") But unless Home Depot and Menard's are stepping up and offering to sponsor the show, I don't know if Lowe's is any more boycott-worthy than they are.

I know, but I'm sick of corporations giving in to jerkoffs like those. Besides, one of my friend's husband is the store manager at Menards so I'm going to shop there. If I need backup stuff I'll order it from online.
