Front squat form

Does anyone have any decent hints, tips, links or videos to help improve this? Always find that I tend to have the barbell resting too much on my hands...

Thanks in advance!

I tend to cross my arms and hold the bar palms down.
This does rest the bar on your collar bones though.
That whole elbows up thing is difficult

Cheers. I've found both varieties quite difficult.

Shame because the front squat is a monster of an exercise even at a low weight!

I've heard a bunch saying not to cross your arms - throws you off / uneven.

I kinda like Adam Thrall

I decided to stop doing front squats, no matter what I tried I always had some form of niggle hitting me somewhere. Same goes for barbell upright rows, just not for me. Don't be disheartened, front squats are not a necessity and you can achieve your goals from other variations of squats and machine work.
