Daisy is about six months now, and 37.5 pounds. She has been growing really quickly recently, and if her excess skin says anything, she is about to hit another spurt. Daisy was spayed today and she is being amazingly sweet. She is feeling a little bit of discomfort, so is using my shoulder to prop herself up while she naps. This way she doesn't have to lay on her incision. She is one smart cookie, and kinda pitiful. But don't feel to bad for her, she felt well enough to chase Luigi earlier.

Yesterday I bought a little jar of nutella while at Kroger and then went in search of canned pumpkin. You see, I wanted to make pumpkin muffins for Saturday morning breakfast. I have pumpkin pecan bread rising in the kitchen. I'm pretty excited about it! My first real bread by myself.

Also, just for the record: If you accidentally add cinnamon instead of paprika to your enchilada sauce, it isn't the end of the world.

We actually quite enjoyed those enchiladas.

The house is coming along. We've been more or less up keeping the living room, if you ignore Daisy's treasure chest area. The kitchen now looks amazing compared to what it did, and the bedroom and bathroom should be up there by the end of the week. I'm pretty excited.
