So I'd heard of weblogs, but I never understood the appeal. Then, when visiting friend Kate, she tells me about LiveJournal. For the past three weeks, I've read her journal, read the journals of a couple other friends, acquaintances, peripheral people-I-know that I came across through her firends list.
