My new job
I now work at a document scanning company in northgate. If I hadn't slept in today I would have rode a bike to work. I didn't have time to check the tires before a bust that'd get me there at the same time came, so I took the bus.
I like the environment here, though half the time we listen to STAR 101.5fm. Casual dress code, nice laid back bosses. ( Read more... ) -

Exciting!
My mom gave me a yixing clay tea cup and a large tin of oolong. The cup is unglazed, and the porous surface will absorb the tea oils and what not over time and become seasoned. I want to see how many years it'll take before I can just pour hot water into it and taste oolong (you're only supposed to use one type of tea per yixing vessel ( Read more... ) -

Eveywhere I go on the internet its Rick Warren this and Ric Warren that. I don't really care who gives the inauguration speech, just as long as Obama is the president when its over; so I've been skipping all the stories about him. Then I inadvertently read that he was the author of The Purpose Driven Life, which reminded me of the TED talk he gave ( Read more... )
