Anyway.  My Halloween offering is posted over to the Pit for your reading pleasure: The Tradition.

Also, made some bomb-ass pumpkin cupcakes with a cinnamon cream cheese frosting.  It's pretty epic:

Glad I was up late tonight to catch your latest offering. Thanks for another great one shot. I found "The Tradition" to be amusing and heart warming. Left my review at the Pit. There was one line that made me say, 'oh yeah...can so relate' (as the person who did the picture taking, lol):

"and you're gonna look adorable. And in about…oh, maybe thirteen or fourteen years, when you bring a girl over to the house to meet Mommy, she's going to have the pictures to prove it, so good luck with that."

Those cupcakes look (and I bet tasted) great. Cinnamon cream cheese frosting sounds good. I'll have to remember that the next time I am making frosting with cream cheese.

I finally had time to check out that costume link. That is a really cute fish costume. (Makes me wish I had grandkids...so I could make one, lol.)

I got a real kick out of the sushi costume. After reading the instructions I can just imagine how hard it would be to get out of that taped-up bundle of stuff and to the bathroom in time. Seems like my kids always had to empty their 'tanks' at the most inopportune times.

Oh, I can't wait for either my sister or me to pop out a kid; I will happily make that costume. :)

I was thisclose to putting Sano and Kaoru in the sushi rolls, but in the end, there was more meaning attached to the costumes they ended up having, and I'm still enough of an English major that I like doing that sort of thing, for those readers inclined to analyze, lol.
