When Pluto Striked Back

Tonight my mom showed me this old story I had written in 1st or 2nd grade.  I was really surprised, I didn't realise I had such forward-thinking aspirations at such a young age. :-)  It's really great, I hope you enjoy it!

I can see you had already watched/read a lot of science fiction by that early point in your life! Very cute :)

Haha! That's sort of sad in a way -- like why, as such a young kid, would you have heard about this "Jesus" fellow enough to have included him in a story? It just proves how prevalent religion is in American culture. I wonder if German children make similar mistakes when writing. In a way, it's very cute and nice to read something silly that a kid wrote -- brings back memories.

By the way -- when I was in Kindergarten, we were suppose to write a letter to Santa. My parents had made it clear that it was *them* giving me the presents and not some fictional character. So I found it a bit offensive that I should *have* to write a letter to this fictional character. They told me to "do it anyway" -- so I scribbled all over it and made quite a fuss. My parents had a conference, no doubt!

Umm... WTF?

You need to at least seperate out who's saying what.

I thought about doing that, but I left it that way to emphasise the childish effect. It's not that hard to figure out. :)
