Crossing the Line

Jan 17, 2006 23:44

"I have too much to lose,"

she said, "if I cross that line."

"Like what?" I said. She

could not think of

anything that day so she

said she'd get back to me.

Since then I've been

thinking what I would

lose if I crossed my

line & I haven't come

up with anything either.

There is always another

line somewhere.

Returned from the dead is our gentle hackmouthian. Interessant.

Have you decided on your future? Or are we just down to blank verse and thrown dice?

I wish I could believe there are other lines to cross.

There's always another line to cross. If you go to far you can even recross lines as you change your position on things you've long held dear. Gravity crosses lines: Hell subatomic particles cross lines. Line crossing is one of the few things in which everything can experience.
