More good days than bad days. I'm up for that resolution.

It's not entirely one we can keep or not keep, but we can do our best to enjoy what we get, right?

Better than not trying at all.

Exactly.

Do you have any resolutions for the coming year?

That's true.

You should note that as an addendum in the minutes.

I wonder if we're actually orbiting anything.

I'm not even sure if this is a whole planet.

I'm not sure whether it would make more or less sense for this to be an isolated part of an actual planet or some sort of...I can't even begin to guess what else. I don't know why I bother thinking about these kinds of things.

I don't think there's really any way for us to ever know, since we can't get past the City's barriers. But it's interesting to think about, to imagine what the truth might be, even if we can't really know.

I want to MARRY YOU for that pun. Right now. Get in the car, we're going to Vegas. primrosella December 31 2010, 01:46:23 UTC
I think that's a very wise hope to have, Neil. More good days than bad ones is a fine goal to set, for a new year.

It's not a real resolution, I don't think, because of course we can't do much about the curses and things but I don't think it's too much to ask.

No, but we can do something about the way we take the curses, I think, and how much we let them bother us. Some curses will always be worse than others, of course, but the less we let them upset us, the better.

Exactly. I don't like when they get the better of me. Sometimes it can't be helped, but it's well worth making the effort.

The deities go along with the seasons and stuff, though.

That sounds good, though. More good days than bad.

Whether the seasons are real or not, they've been fairly predictable while I've been here. Not counting the couple of snowy days in summer or Christmas weekend.

I'm not all that ambitious, I guess, but I think it's a good attitude.

Yeah, there's always the same sort of weather curse.

I don't think that attitude has to do with what curses we get.

I don't like letting curses get the better of me.
