Mr William Hadley-Bright is in the library. He has a book open before him, and several in a stack off to the side. He is hunched over said volume, his chin resting in his hand, his finger poised to trace the words along the page. All in all, he is the perfect picture of a studious young gentleman. Gen is often in the library, and is passing by with a largeish stack of books. On seeing Hadley-Bright, he says quietly without thinking. "What are you working o- oh." He winces as he too late notices the young man was asleep.

Should they make the sort of sounds one might expect a waltzing lectern-- or indeed, any piece of waltzing furniture-- to make, he may well find himself waking.

Cecilia is doing her own research. It involves a piece of amber and a good deal of Ancient Greek and she comes over to Hadley-Bright with a distinct sense of Purpose. "What do you think of this, Mr. Hadley-Bright? This book here says that... Are you asleep?" She shakes his shoulder a bit roughly.
