In all realism, this won't hold a candle to those people that are not fans of both, since most of the time people that have never been gamers don't acknowledge the fact that there is amazing music scored with games. Famously, he would be known for the scores in the Final Fantasy games. One of the founders in orchestrating real music scores into games. He's totally my hero.

Nobuo Uematsu is to video gaming what Danny Elfman is to Tim Burton.

Honestly, he's the only game music composer I know off the top of my head, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE his scores!

I'm glad that you agree, but I'd say that nobuo blows away danny elfman. I might hit too hard saying this, but I think Tim Burton's pretty overrated too.
