Dread braids and plastic

Dread-braids in six shades of pink and uv reactive white, with plastic accents, as a birthday present for the lovely mundenlogic.
This is the first time we've done dread-braids on a real person [although we've done them on a wig before] so we were really pleased with how they turned out.

are they box braided dreads?

they are 4-way box braids all the way down. The hair isn't really dreads; it's backcombed, then braided, then sealed.

the different colour combincations made us think at various stages of candy floss, ice cream, cheese cake and campino sweets.
