Regrettably, I will no longer be able to comment on LJ, except on those rare occasions when I settle down in front of a Windows Laptop at home; I mostly read LJ on the move, and the new LJ comments page does not work on any browser I can run on my Android phone

The m.livejournal portal thingy seems to be working the way it always did, or at least, here's a comment from me and my Android through it.

It is, and the LJ iPhone app is working as usual as far as I can see. But I assume this is all about the clumsy upgrade to the comment system they have just applied, despite literally thousands of people saying 'no, please don't do this' to them.

Not having tested this with a phone, I can't speak to your major point: but it was notable that the next post I read on my f'list was about how the new design was all about catering to mobile phone users instead of more traditional computer users.
