I'm glad I'm not a guy, and that I don't have spina bifida, and that I don't use a catheter. All of those things are scary and make me nauseous. I think I need to go lay down.

I'm going to the Interpol concert.

I found that my orientation was an even blend of the experiences of both FJ (who said it "sucked balls") and CW (who said it was "impossible to not have fun"). I think I was having fun mainly because I enjoyed being in AA, and I was miserable only because it was so HOT. IT WAS HOT. HOT. HOT. HOT. HOT. HOT. HOT. RIDICULOUSLY HOT.

So I'm camping... not really though. I'm sitting in the middle of a man-made campground, in an air conditioned fifth wheel, watching satellite television, and updating on my laptop. I found a rare Dylan performance of "Percy's Song" and I love it. Bob's rendition is matter-of-fact and rather dry. Joan's cover (which can be seen in "Don't Look Back") is more melancholy and I think her voice nicely accompanies the plaintive melody of her strumming. Either way, it's a long song done well.

Today I stood in the kitchen where my mother was making breakfast (not enough for me to eat with them, of course) and announced that she had sabotaged my summer.
