Twilight and others

Kris had a free rental at Blockbuster tonight, so he picked up Twilight. I really, really didn't want to like it. But I did really like it. I mean, it's not the greatest movie ever made and it won't change your life, but I was entertained for the whole two hours. The only real problem I had with it was the fact that they were teenagers. 1. I am going to read the Twilight series sometime in the near future when I'm home with the baby. I will let you know what I think about all that then.

2. I like hearing about Piper sleeping well. It's reassuring to me.

2. It's reassuring to me, too! It makes both of us feel less insane!
3. Well, it's more a frugality thing: I don't want to buy new pants so I do things to fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes.

Wow - what is "company time"? That sounds amazing.

That's also pretty cool that they give you sick time AND PTO time. Over here, it's one and the same.

It's just time. It doesn't "cost" me anything in the way of PTO or sick time. So, the first week of my leave was sick time and the last two weeks was sick time. Bcause I had a c-section, I had to cough up some time to make up what "company time" didn't cover. I could also have taken it as STD and had it be 70% of my gross pay.....or something.
