My trusty 2.5 year old picked-by-my-parents cell phone finally kicked the bucket this week.  Since I was up for a maaaaajor verizon plan upgrade, I got to select the gadget of my choice:  A teal Samsung "Juke."  I had never heard of this brand before tonight, but in the past hour I've seen 3 different ads for it.  Crazy.  It nestles into my hand ( Read more... )

Yuriy is letting us out early for Thursday's senior cocktails. Considering that the Chorus has been called for every single rehearsal (oedipus himself is only there half the time), this was unexpected and wonderful.

Hopefully Yuriy will let us pregame at rehearsal too... does anyone know whether we can carry a bottle on the bus?

On saturday, I went to Lo-rise to play poker but walked in just as it was finishing.   The next thing on the boys agenda? So I've been cast in the Fall Faculty show "Oedipus Rex" directed by the beloved Yuriy.  Interesting things that have happened as a result:

-Goodbye, social life:  The rehearsal schedule is 7-11pm Tuesday-Friday, 12-4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
