i just bommmmmmbed my audition for the fall faculty show. i don't think i could've shocked the director more.  note to self: doing all 7 deadly sins in 3 minutes may not be the best choice for the physical/vocal part of an audition if you look schizophrenic while performing it.  also, perform the normal monologue FIRST.

I was standing at the computer kiosk in the theatre building when I heard someone call "Lynn!" from down the hall. Saturday
Midnight-4am:  Private room at the Maru Karaoke bar for Jenifer D's birthday.  Great music selection (They had "smooth Operator"!).  Total bill at the end of the night was $600+ dollars, gallantly split amongst the guys.

4am-7am:   Hung out on the stoop with Javier, drinking beer/eating pizza/talking about life.  Went to bed very content.

Woke up this morning to a steady too-light-to-carry-an-umbrella-but-enough-to-be-annoying rain.  Walked to East Houston and bought two enormous knishes, one of which I smothered in hot sauce and ate with chopsticks.
