Personally, I do most fills deanoned (not many, yet, but I also haven't made many requests and I am currently working on some) because it's easier for me to keep track of them. See, I hit the LIMIT on tracking comments (because of kinkmemes in previous fandoms) and I'm having to go through about a thousand tracks and delete defunct ones. Because I'm lazy, I only do a couple at a time. Then I start tracking new stuff and hit my limit again and have to delete s'more and--Well, it's just really a pain in the ass to not only do a fill but also make sure I have a free tracking slot so I can make sure I get the responses ( ... )

Yes dear god, I try to stay anon so that my work can speak for itself-- I don't want to be a douche like OH LOOK SON YOUR PROMPT IS BEING FILLED BY A GOD EVERYONE STAND BACK or whatever-- but dear shitting christ on a rusty bike is it a pain in the ass to chop your fic into 4,000 character bits. And to fill out a captcha for each bit. So I've either got to spend ages dicking around with LJ's ridiculous bullshit, or de-anon and wait for everyone to flip their shit about if I'm showing off or something!

People who somehow feel shamed for staying anon when other people personally decide not to just need to take a deep breath and realize no one's judging them.

You know, de-anoning in kink memes was never a big deal to me, iedk why it would be to other people. But yeah, I do think that if people are gonna request stuff unanon, boy! They certainly have guts to do so--because it is a kink meme after all and more often than not, people ask for things that would make others do a double-take more than once! lol So Kudos to those who can handle the heat ( ... )
