At night when the flowers were lit up, how far from the Man could you make them out? I missed that.

There are also some planty looking spikes behind the flowers that make me think of Chinese bamboo torture. Short life of trouble ...

the flowers weren't super bright, compared to the neon, so you had to be close to make them out. they were still burning in when paul got to them.
