and that girl totally apologized to the mom and she apologized back and they hugged
but then the son was just like... oh man... my life is going to be hell if i go with a girl who's so quick to confront my mom.
that... or the other thing... which is on so many of these shows that a guy just keeps a girl around until he macks on her and then tosses her to move on to new conquests
