What's up folks.  I haven't updated this lovely journal in quite a while, so I figure I really should document my current state of life right now.  Things are not too bad.  Apartment life is bittersweet.  I really love living with Steve; it's so much fun sharing a room with him.  I think we make it work out so well.  (Although, he's currently lying ( Read more... )

My uncle passed away of cancer yesterday morning.  It hit me hard because there is literally no rhyme or reason to the disease.  The cancer in his body had spread all the way to his brain and he died a day after his family found out.  I'm sad and shocked.  Katie's taking it pretty badly.

So I'm at home right now; well, my parents'.  It's kind of funny to say that now.  It's wicked sunny, I just ate a really nice lunch, had most of a Tony's donut, and I'm probably going to go for a run in the "old" neighborhood pretty soon.  I am loving this weather.  Makes me happeh ( Read more... )
