I met him in the forest. It took a while - he's kind of an asshole, to be honest, so you have to be patient enough to get him talking. He name's Eferin, by the way. I learned how to control it completely after just over two months of practicing.

It's no trouble, Madame Svala. The fire spirit is fairly stubborn when it comes to pact-making. Eventually he'll approach you, usually in the forests, but it's not always guaranteed that he'll agree to help you. At least, certainly not immediately.
