It's hard being away. It's hard not having friends. I want hugs every day. -

I think about him so much still. Not as much as the first few days here, but so much still. It's hard.
I'm lonely, but not as much. I'm getting to know people which helps.

Some days I'm fine, some not. Today is a not. I had a good start - work, lunch with coworkers, etc. Then I just got down. Afternoons are tough, when I feel like I should be doing things but instead nap. It's hard.
I miss hugs. -

I love Germany. It's beautiful and the weather is awesome. The only bad thing is that it's lonely. Really, really lonely. I miss having confidantes, partners in crime. Eight days to departure! I leave Sunday, October 5,and will arrive in Munich at 7:40 a.m. Monday the 6th. Thankfully I have only one stop between San Antonio and Munich, and that's at Washington Dulles. The plane ride to D.C. is three and a half hours, and then eight hours and twelve minutes to Munich, then a two hour car ride to Garmisch. And ( Read more... ) -

So I leave to Germany October 5, and moving back to my parents' on Tuesday. There's still so much tedious stuff I have to do - figure out the situation with my cell phone, for example.
