a question recently imposed on me:

love v. infatuation

whats the difference? can it be the same?

blood clots settle around carpal tunnel wrists
like cheap lead weights lured by gravity.
i use my brittle nails to scrape off ribbons of flat white paint
jamming it up against a distrupted arch.
now a painful wedge rips apart flesh from protein
as i watch pink boiling to a plump crimson.
now moist, vibrant, and never alarmed.

last week
-drank a lil too much 4x
-smoked every night

this week
-went to bed before 10PM 2x
-late to work 3x
-smoked every other night

tonight
-stole food from work for tonites supper
-gonna watch step into liquid

~ 14" dell monitor, been on for 12 hrs now (so have I)
~ commuter mug w/ coffee from this morn
~ mug w/ tea bag drying up inside
~ ginseng-green tea energy drink (only the gunky stuff left at the bottom, typical of odwalla, @ room-temperature)

nobody cept me in the office.

a speck expands into a black hole. feeding off itself. the other stays away, watching. every second curls with indigestion. still together. the stomach acid is meaningless. rescue me from the plunge. and give way.
