I haven't posted here since before I turned 40 ("A decade ago," by sportswriter math) but I didn't want to leave June completely blank and July is coming oh-so-quickly, so here's a late month check-in

I think there must be a subtle reason why the Earth was made spherical. Remember the saying: No matter where you are, you are there! If you are an ant crawling around a suspended grapefruit, you probably end up many times at the point where you started, no matter what directions you're heading for. Enough philosophical pondering for one minute.

All four of us were together in Redwood City in December a couple years ago. On my birthday, with Mike Viola, Adam Schlesinger, and Chris von Sneidern(!). That was 2010. Charlie wanted to fight me. The brothers three were together for Uncle Bob's funeral (please remind me which year).

December 2009. We were all dressed up for family pictures on the deck. We also recorded some songs and posted on iTune.

What I actually meant, but worded poorly, was the last time the entire family, including Karla, was in the same place at the same time.

I believe the Hollanders are in town. Did you have a chance to see them? The news came from a reliable source in Tampa, Florida. Actually, Co Ba and Chau are visiting down there.

It is already beyond the mid of July. How time flies, see you soon!
The IFF activities have already started, from the Quonsets to the goats barn and campgrounds.
