Continuous Vacation
At 3pm on Wednesday of last week, I left work and haven't been back since. Tomorrow is another scheduled day off, then it's my final week of work before everything changes. It's Official and Can Be Publicly Discussed
My background check came up clean today, making me an official employee of Tickets.com. My first day will be July 15th leaving next week as my final week as a show supervisor. Some people find leaving some jobs bittersweet. I feel no remorse or pangs of nostalgia whatsoever. I'll continue to work with most of the people who are already my coworkers ( Read more... ) -

A Great Movie
I went running with Phil and Anna after work - uphill and at about a 9 minute pace. It was hot out and I lost steam (or actually started producing way too much of it) when we were in Volunteer Park and had to take a little walk break. Summer in May
As you know, I get most or possibly all of my news for Facebook now. I know exactly how pathetic that is, but let me take it a step further. I read a status update today that said Seattle was the warmest place in the country at 83 degrees. That's pretty warm for Seattle and especially warm for the first week of May. Kimchi Makin' Day
Barry and Janene got married last month in Maui. Their wedding party for friends and family isn't until August, the same day as day-one of the Huynh Family Reunion in California. Janene's parents are Korean and are currently away on sabbatical in Seoul, which is why Barry and Janene have been living in a big house in Shoreline with a fantastic deck ( Read more... ) -
Defense: Getting Punched in the Face
I got punched in the face today. Not just once, a few times. Not hard. Nothing that rattled me. No bare knuckles. But we actually sparred a bit, Alisher and I, both with boxing gloves. A Whimpering Return
I've been away for a month and not writing has left me feeling a bit unhinged. Work is as bad or worse than ever and not improving. I had a month long unlimited membership at a boxing gym.
