I have been on a Wilco binge. It is the best music for my mood the past two days. I have my high points (boppy songs such as Heavy Metal Drummer) my meh points (Spiders (Kidsmoke)), my memories (A Shot in the Arm) my low points (all the static and stuff on A Ghost is Born). ... I love your spunk Hal, and I love your acting. It's true, not everyone is happy with what they do as an occupation. And nobody should give up their dreams, especially you! There is a difference however, between dreams and practicality. It is perfectly possible for you, or for anyone who loves theater, to persue that while preparing for another career. You could go to NYU, study literature, and still go to auditions, for example. You, Hallie, are a smart as well as talented girl, so don't ever let either of those qualities go to waste! Do what feels right. I love you<3

Ari's favorite quote from the little prince:

"I did not know what to say to him. I felt awkward and blundering. I did not know how I could reach him, where I could overtake him and go on hand in hand with him once more.

It is such a sacred place, the land of tears"

I used to have it written on my wall.

i know that i would much rather fail doing what i love then force myself onto some other path.

..dunno how you feel about screen acting, but when i write my first hit screenplay i could save you a role.

YES! It's a deal. When you become a famous screenwriter, you save me a role. And then we rock the socks off everyone. Oo this would be fun.
